  2. Sidebar Widget Heading to Match Template Heading

    In the Widgets section I'd like some of my widget headlines to be the same as the other headings in the design. My workaround now is using <h3 class="ezoic-list-sidebar-title ezCSS">Heading Title</h3>, it doesn't work for all the templates, but for quite a few. It would be nice to have this feature so we can decide if to use a heading that fits the design.

  4. Show template screenshot on mouseover of template name from the dashboard

    Please provide easy access to an image of the templates (preferably a screenshot of my site using that template) from the dashboard.

  5. Every theme should identify itself at bottom

    When I get people emailing me about a specific theme or layout issue (which has happened a couple of times) it would be great if I could just say "go to the page and on the very, very bottom there's a line that identifies the theme and parameters", then we'd know what they're seeing.

    I'm thinking something like:

    Layout ID: "lion" for 1200x900 Mac, browser Google Chrome

    I think that'd be really useful, and having it be tiny (font-size:8pt) would mean it'd be invisible to people that aren't looking for it.

  7. See Where Ads Appear in Templates

    Where ads would appear in each template is an important element in understandng them. I would like to be able to see that in the template.

    As far as I can tell, all the of templates that we can see are for desktop. I would also like to see the templates for smartphone and tablet.

  9. The ability to limit or add to the number ads in various sections of the page.

    In other words, if there are three ads at the top of the page pushing the content down the page, we can reduce them to one if we wish. I see this as an additional feature to the "Max. Ads Per Page" selection in the settings.

  10. When we are logged out without our consent, it would be nice to return to the same page after we log back in.

    Presently, if I'm watching the daily view of earnings including today, I need to take three steps every time to get back to view it. I think the timeout is much too fast, but if we must have it, this would offset the bother.

  11. Ability to Edit Privacy Policy

    As it stands, the privacy policy that visitors to our sites see is nonsensical. Part of it is addressed by Ezoic to us and part of it is addressed by us to our visitors. But even if it weren't so confused, in privacy policies one size does not fit all. Some sites may have visitors register or subscribe to a newsletter while other sites may not ask their visitors for any information at all. The section on cookies placed by advertisers may be generally relevant, but other than that, each site might have a different need. Perhaps a variety of…

  12. Ability to establish the site language

    My site is displayed with the Widgets titles in English and the site is in Spanish, I would like to be able to override this or maybe establish a fixed language for all site elements based on the site's language.

  13. Ability to exclude video ads that run with sound.

    Video ads without sound are distracting but allow a visitor to ignore them. Video ads with sound that cannot be closed by the visitor can drive a visitor off a page. I would like that type of ad to be added to the types that can be excluded.

  14. I'd like the ability to choose whether or not to display text only & image only ads.

    It would be nice to be able to tailor the look & feel of our experiments by being able to select what type of ads to display for each section.

  15. I'd like publishers to have the right to choose if they want the social media buttons on their site, not Ezoic.

    These buttons (Facebook Share and PinIt) are currently compulsory on every Ezoic website theme. You can find them under the main photo for every page of your site.

    Even though social media is important to any business, the reason I'm requesting these buttons be optional is related to the photographs we use on our websites.

  16. Highlight menu link to active page

    Link to active page to be highlighted in all variants

    When I am on page A and that page is along with other pages listed in a long menu then it should be best practice to highlight link to page A in that menu. How else should I know where I am?

    The same logic might apply to differentiating links to visited pages. How else would I know which pages I already visited if I have a long menu and all the menu items look the same?

  17. Extending lines in the horizontal smartphone view rather than just repeating vertical view.

    In some of the smartphone variations, the margins don’t change when the phone is flipped from vertical to horizontal – you get the same look with white space on the right. In other variations, the letters get larger to take up the extra space. But in none of the variations I’ve seen yet do the lines lengthen or spread out to take up the extra space. This would be especially useful to me since in the vertical view, many of my poetic lines wrap back to the left margin. It would be nice if in the horizontal view they could…
