2. Projected Earnings for the month

   We are always trying to extrapolate estimated earnings for the month based upon actual earnings for a certain period of time during a month. based upon the user experience you already employ, you could predict for me the earnings for the month, along with your "level of confidence" based upon the number of days you have and the repeatability of the trailing traffic patterns.

3. rolled up "sum of all sites" data view

   The "all my sites" tab could include a rolled up picture of all the earnings from the sites. There would be less detailed data, but perhaps more higher level data at this level.

5. An EPMpv ($ per 1k page views) button beside the EPMV button in earnings

   Besides page views being a better indicator than visitors, this would also help when comparing Ezoic earnings to Adsense earnings when running experiments.

   Even though the data is available in Ezoic's earnings table, it would be handy to have it formatted into the big blue buttons to flick through the EPMpv for devices & periods.

8. Would love to see an easier way to review templates.

   While the search is good if you know what you're looking for, it's a pain if you don't. Trying to match up the template you see on a live site with the naming conventions takes too much time.

9. Stats by site summary

   On the dashboard, I wish I could click on my daily earnings and then have it show a breakdown of that total daily income broken by site. Same thing with the Visits stats you show on the dashboard.

11. Publisher control on where to position the mailing list signup box in the sidebar

    Hi. I've posted about this before, but didn't describe it very well, so doing it again here.

    Basically, I'd like control of where I put my mailing list signup box in my sidebar. Before September 2014, you could have this signup box above all the ads in the sidebar WITHOUT you having to do anything. You just installed your box (using the widget section in WordPress) and there it was - with every single Ezoic template.

    Now, Ezoic have moved the mailing list signup box to below the first ad in the sidebar. And without telling us or asking us if that's okay. It's not.

    Any publisher knows the top right corner of a webpage is where the mailing list signup box needs to go. The mailing list (and its subscribers) are the lifeblood of your business. When visitors come to your site, you need to catch their attention straight away, with a big bold signup box. Mine has a free ebook that goes with it

    If our mailing lists are our lifeblood, why does Ezoic get to control where its signup box goes?

    Yeah, ads are important in the sidebar too - but they should go underneath the signup box, as a rule.

    Not impressed with Ezoic moving that box around, without asking us, and you shouldn't be happy about it either.

12. Add one line breadcrumb navigation menu

    It would be good to add an option to sue one line breadcrumb-navigation menu (great for large sites). I am not sure if I could do it myself since it involves CSS changes. Ezoic.com has it....

    Approximately 25% of our traffic is repeat visitors, and 75% is search / drive by. Seems like we should be exploring how we serve up a different experience for the returning visitor?

14. Put the dashboard Settings features in alphabetical order

    Make sense, right? When you're looking for something, it's easier to search for an item alphabetically.

    But not with Ezoic.

    If you go to the Basic Site Options in Settings, you'll get features ordered like this:

    Turn Ezoic On & Off
    Optimization Goals
    Menu
    Logo
    Caching
    Ad Types

    When you're in a rush, having to search up and down this un-user-friendly order does not help. You're being forced to think about whether anything is, which can immensely frustrating. It's ironic that Ezoic is all about helping our website users have a better experience; and yet they've forgotten to help us publishers have a better user experience.

    Also, why do you need to split the features between Basic and Advanced? Why can't they both be on the same page?

    I think you should also add a 2nd way to search for features = by grouping everything (regardless of whether it's Basic or Advanced) into a list. That way, if you're experienced with Ezoic, you can just find what you want quickly.

    I hope Ezoic listens to this. Whoever decided not to put the features in alphabetical order is obviously not a publisher/user.

    Make sense, right? When you're looking for something, it's easier to search for an item alphabetically.

15. Renaming Uservoice into Publishervoice

    It's not a semantics issue, but that's what we are, publishers, not users, when we come to Ezoic. Yes we do all use the software, but the word "user" is slightly cold, detached. It's not a very inclusive word.

    I know down the road you want Ezoic to become a self-service product. But if you call this Publishervoice, you could also cultivate a publisher community in anticipation of that, who could share tips and ideas related to Ezoic and maybe online business in general. You could also integrate Knowledgebase, making the Uservoice a hub of information for any newcomer, as well as share recent Ezoic development and news.

    Uservoice is also not a very lively place as it is and it could be.

    Just a thought.

16. Adding mailing list signup box above sidebar ads without needing HTML

    Back in mid-August 2014, I was able to get my signup box above the ads in the sidebar WITHOUT having to use Ezoic's widgets. I'd positioned the signup box inside my WordPress dashboard (in their widgets section) - and it subsequently appeared in the Ezoic template where I wanted it.

    Then in September 2014, this all changed, and my signup box is now under a sidebar ad. As you may not be aware - for maximum exposure and signup potential, the best recommended position for a mailing list signup box is on the top right of any web page. Look at any online business for proof. It also relates to heatmaps and how we read across the page.

    I use an external WordPress plugin for my signup box, as well. This plugin gives me a variety of signup box templates I can select from and I can also upload an image to it of my mailing list ebook. So my signup box can only be displayed with this plugin.

    But when I looked in your sidebar widgets, I discovered that I can't actually just add this plugin as a widget so it shows up above the ads. I was told by my rep I could only insert the API code related to the mailing list for that. Which is silly advice - because all doing that will do is display the following in the sidebar:

    <first name>
    <email address>

    … but it will not present the signup box itself, its copy or its images.

    No self-respecting business is going to present their signup box like that, especially when that box is crucial to getting subscribers onboard. It looks amateur.

    And before you ask: no, there is no HTML code for my WordPress plugin that I can just copy into that box. In WordPress, you simply install your plugin and it appears on your site; it doesn't come with any HTML code.

    So what I'm asking for is a way anyone can add their mailing list signup box to their website without having to do the "add a widget" feature you currently have. Like I said, I didn't have to do this before.

    Right now, I want my signup box back in the top right of my site, above the ads, where it was before. And now I can't, for some bizarre reason that Ezoic has never bothered to inform us publishers about.

17. More publisher control over the header image size

    Hi. So right now, the majority of Ezoic templates feature a giant image under the main navigation bar and before the content. I don’t know what the purpose of this image is - only it does nothing but dominate the Above the Fold, pushing all the content Below the Fold. Whenever I visit my site, it’s all I see as the first thing on any page.

    Is there any way we can control the size of that image, for instance, make it letterbox size? Or remove it altogether?

    Even reducing the width of an image (when uploading your own) doesn’t change the image size; in fact, the image is blown up to fit the parameters.

    The other problem with the image size is that it distracts from the menu options in the main navigation bar. So if you have a store as one of those options, it’s more important that visitors see that store option and know it’s there. Having that image in the way can be really detracting.

18. Add video with sound to ad types that require an opt-in.

    Right now the only two types of ads that require an opt-in are in-line and pop-under ads. But I find ads that run a video with sound quite obnoxious (video without sound can be much more easily ignored). So I would like to be able to eliminate such ads from my site.
