Make the scripts async or deferred
The scripts that Ezoic loads (jquery, ezjquery-noconflict.js, etc) block page rendering and hurt the website's load time.
Please consider making these scripts async or deferred
Is this still an issue? I have just recently signed up and see my doc ready time rise from 0.7s to > 3s after joining Ezoic. I haven't had a discussion with my account manager about this yet and wanted to do a little research. I also see major render blocking from Ezoic assets.
It would be much better for it all to be deferred. Has anybody solved this?
You will begin the application process by completing their quick and easy electronic form which calculates your eligibility. Once the initial procedure is completed, one of their dedicated advisors will talk you through the Areande process. Your time is precious and they know that, so they keep things simple by doing all the work for you. Simply sit back, relax and let the hmrc tax specialist company Areande it.
Research and development tax credits/research and development
Research and development tax credits are a great way to generate cash for your business.
Another way of explaining research and development tax credit is by seeing it as “expenditure credit" rather than tax credit. This is because tax is often seen as a formal term used for paying the government money; the thought of possibly being entitled to money being returned in tax that you’ve paid is obviously a dwelling thought as nobody wants to be wrongfully claiming tax credits.
With uncertainty still surrounding the brexit resolution, and the added strain of the current global pandemic, the phrase ‘unprecedented times’ is truly appropriate. Problems posed have seen innovative workplaces locked down, and then upon re-opening there is an increased need to do things differently. Simply put, britain needs its innovators right now. So, now is the time to embrace the government’s plans to increase national spending on research and development to 2.4% of gdp by 2027, and make the most of an areande claim.
To be put simply, research and development tax credits (also known as R&D credits) are a UK incentive designed ideally to get more companies to invest in research and development.
An ancient book once said, 'Without vision the people perish'. The same can be said for research and development because it is all about vision. It is all about looking ahead and realising the potential of a product line, a service or company advancement. Without it a company can lose its standing in the marketplace. Without it jobs could be lost. Without research and development there is no growth, no ambition.
It's 2019,and yes, this is still a problem. My site loaded almost instantly before integrating with ezoic, but after the ezoic integration, my site speed dropped noticeably
Hey, Jenny here (Ezoic Staff).
Ezoic already uses asynchronous loading for scripts.
More information in point three of this article: https://support.ezoic.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001981771-Site-Speed-When-Using-the-Ezoic-Platform
It makes the overall load time seem longer, whereas the most important resources are front loaded in order to ensure the user gets the content faster & has a good experience. If you have any questions about this feel free to contact firstname.lastname@example.org
When I joined a few months ago, this was an issue. And I didn't want to use Ezoic's DNS, but cloudflare's.
Ezoic came up with a method that works so I don't have to worry about render blocking. Based on the setup, I'm sure you can apply it similarly, only, you may have to set it up on your own by adding DNS reccords.
With this in mind, maybe talk to an account manager and see what can be done.
It's just a thought.
please make all scripts async. welcome to 2017!

This is why I am wondering if maybe I`m should back to Adsense, websites are extremely slow with ezoic enabled.
This is a big deal. Load time is also the one reason I am considering other testing alternatives. This has to be a priority!
An option to remove jquery for sites already loading that script would also be helpful
Any update on this? Site load time is such a huge factor in rankings and compromising on that won't be possible.

totally agree.. I'm thinking to leave ezoic only for this reason.. My website load time increased up form 0,7 to 3,5 seconds (x5) which is Crazy
This is the only reason I skipped integration, I am surprised what kind of engineers you hire
This seems like a no brainer. Why would Ezoic have a benefit in blocking or hindering a process that would help on both sides of this equation?
Yes please, this is such a huge problem and has to be solved.
My website load time increased up to 9 seconds which is Crazy, bounce rate increased also and after all its just hurting the performance and revenue
Totally agree !!!
