Would be awesome to be able to track the performance of each ad individually.
So say that 80% of my revenue is coming from my header & sidebar ads. Yet there are 2-3 other ad types which eqaute to only 20% of my revenue.
I would like the option to remove the under-performing ads to improve usability - It would be nice if we had such metrics to make informed decisions on how we customize our site.

I do not see this "star" rating anywhere. Please give me the exact link of the page it is on.

We've added a "star rating" to each ad placement to provide more guidance in Settings -> Ad Placements. It gives you an overview of the relative performance of each placement.
It is important to note that manually disabling ad placement isn't recommended. The system selects which placements and sizes to display based on actual data and how that data corresponds to your optimization preferences. So, if an ad is negatively affecting usability and you've rankings user experience high, it will not show that ad.
