Hi Sally - thanks for the question. You already have the ability to exclude certain ad positions site wide, or on individual pages. The system is testing ad size and ad location to hit the goals you've set for the system to go and get for you (optimization goals). So - that ad is going to be tested to see how it achieves your goals. If you want to exclude that ad from testing though - you can do that. Login to your Ezoic dashboard http://www.ezoic.com/publisher.php?login go to settings> advanced> ad placements.
or hit CTRL / ALT / e while you're on the page - and disable the ad position just on a particular page.
There is more info on this in the Ezoic Knowledgebase: http://support.ezoic.com/home

Thanks for the suggestion. At some point, we would like to add optimization goals such as mailing list signups so the system can balance your other goals (such as revenue) against that.

In the meantime, you're more than welcome to use the "widget" functionality to place your mailing list signup at the top position.

Thanks for the idea. While we don't currently support limiting the size of ads, you can block specific ad placements on your site by following the instructions here: http://support.ezoic.com/hc/en-us/articles/202656878-Selecting-Ad-Placements

If you would just like to block a specific placment on a specific page, you can follow the instructions here: http://support.ezoic.com/hc/en-us/articles/203600085-How-to-exclude-a-particular-ad-on-a-particular-page-step-by-step-guide

This system is under constant refinement. Your reports are very helpful. If there are issues affecting your site specifically, please let your Ezoic contact now as they have granular controls available to them that aren't available yet in the interface.

Some issues have been resolved - you'll notice that many situations like the "attitude" haven't occurred in almost a month. You can see this by looking at the "Last Reported" date.

The word list and methodology that we use is built on Google's own word list and methodology. We've seen many sites that have had issues where rationally you would think they shouldn't and tend to error more on the side of caution. One example that we've seen is a site about breastfeeding get a violation for the word breast. Another is a page about the "soup nazi" character from Seinfeld.

Thank you for the idea! If you don't mind, could you explain why earnings per 1,000 page views is an important metric to you?

We've got a couple of examples of why we use EPMV (http://support.ezoic.com/hc/en-us/articles/202543928-Why-does-Ezoic-use-EPMV-as-a-metric-for-revenue- & http://www.ezoic.com/ad-testing.php (the blue boxes))

We agree that this should be done, but it's a large amount of work on our end. I don't anticipate it being added in the coming months.

Uservoice is the name of the company that provides this "idea" software. https://www.uservoice.com/

So, while I agree with you, it's not really under our control. That said, we do plan on building out more of a community at some point to help every share ideas, tips, etc.

You do not have to select an top image. It's optional. Most templates will show nothing in that location if you have not selected or uploaded a top image.

Would you be able to provide more information about what portions of the privacy poilcy you think are an embarrassment? We'd love to clarify it.

Thanks for the suggestion. You are still able to have your own privacy policy, but we obviously have certain requirements for all sites that we must adhere to. It probably makes sense that we provide a way to link the two policies together. We will discuss and try to figure out a solution.

Alex, we are able to do this for you, however it isn't exposed in the interface yet. Please contact the Ezoic person you've been working with and let them know you'd like to block them.

Ad positions are completely separate from each template -- meaning there are no fixed ad locations for a template and they are even different from page to page depending on the type of content, content length, user source, etc, etc.

At the current time we test 625 ad position combinations. Ideally, we will be able to come up with a way to let you flip through them all, which would be time-consuming to say the least :), but it's not planned at the current time.

This type of functionality is available on many experiments. I have noted the feedback and we will put checks in place to ensure that it's added on new ones and improve some older experiments.

Thanks for the suggestion. Technically, we do think this is possible, but it isn't in the development queue yet. Let's see if it bubbles up!

The Ezoic system is already compatible with Wordpress. In fact, we have hundreds of Wordpress sites using the platform.

That said, we do understand the value in a plugin for the platform vs our current integration which is to change name servers.

    Thanks for adding this!
