check carefully the so called list of files of objectionable content
I checked the files in the objectionable content list and I could not find the words listed as objectionable. What next?Is there a bug in the software used to scan content? Is a word like compass is objectionable because in contains "ass" for example?

some of the post doesn't even have the said words.. even after fixing those problematic pages, ban does not lifted.
at least give us the option to disable it ourselves.

And unfortunately there is a BSD software package named "tits" http://svnweb.freebsd.org/ports/head/comms/tits/pkg-descr?view=markup
Sheesh :)

"xxx" is also difficult. I have many pages that used that when describing IP addresses :192.168.xxx
And a page about a firewall that blocks objectionable content couldn't use the word "pornography"!
Why don't you use a scoring system instead of flagging for one word?

"Ass" ---> Assistant :(

This system is under constant refinement. Your reports are very helpful. If there are issues affecting your site specifically, please let your Ezoic contact now as they have granular controls available to them that aren't available yet in the interface.
Some issues have been resolved - you'll notice that many situations like the "attitude" haven't occurred in almost a month. You can see this by looking at the "Last Reported" date.
The word list and methodology that we use is built on Google's own word list and methodology. We've seen many sites that have had issues where rationally you would think they shouldn't and tend to error more on the side of caution. One example that we've seen is a site about breastfeeding get a violation for the word breast. Another is a page about the "soup nazi" character from Seinfeld.

Really isn't a developed system that's for sure. Attitude and "tit" let's get real here. Time to look at the algorthmns being used and start modifying them.

Yes, the objectionable content filter evidently simply looks for letter sequence. Thus, compass, class, Titusville (tit) and a whole series of other goofy things are flagged. To say that this is not a a very sophisticated approach to detecting objectionable content is an understatement. You can have a geographical page that shows dams, levees, reservoirs, but heaven forbid you want to also list dykes. It's almost funny, but the filter is excluding ads from thousands of pages on my site.
